To be eligible for Arts Intern, you must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree and: 

  1. Currently enrolled as a full-time rising junior (a current sophomore) – or –
  2. Currently enrolled as a full-time junior – or –
  3. Currently enrolled as a full-time senior graduating by fall 2024. 
  4. You must either reside or attend college in the same city as the organization that hosts you. (These boundaries vary in each of Arts Intern's participating cities.)
  5. You must have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) up to $6,250. (This number is on the Student Aid Report on the FAFSA form. To see what it looks like, can be found here
We do not accept any other forms of documentation for an EFC.

Arts Internship Summer 2024 Application Important Information:

Interns may work in the following areas: • Archives • Collections and Exhibitions Research• Collections Registration • Conservation • Development • Editorial and Publications •Graphic Design •Marketing and Membership and more!

Internship applicants must be currently enrolled in undergraduate studies. 

(international students or graduate students are ineligible)

Information:

  • The summer internship program runs from the first week in June through the second week of August. 
  • Interns work 4 days per week and must attend all enrichment activities every Friday during the program.
  • If you are selected to move forward with the application process, an Arts Intern staff member will contact you on next steps.
