2026 Bloomberg Arts Internship (BAI) Summer Program (high school)

This summer, high school juniors in New York City can earn $29.45 per hour working up to 33 hours per week at one of Studio’s non-profit arts and cultural partners through the Bloomberg Arts Internship (BAI). BAI provides a paid opportunity to explore arts careers; hone your workplace, communication and public-speaking skills; and sharpen your writing through a program led by Columbia University’s Teachers College that includes guidance for completing your college essays.
To be selected, you must be:
- A high school junior during the 2025–26 school year
- 16 years of age or older by the end of the 2025–26 school year
- Available between 6/29/2026 –8/21/2026 for the entire internship program. The first day of mandatory orientation will begin on Monday, June 29 and continue through Thursday, July 2. There will be no program on Friday, July 3 in observance of the federal holiday that falls on Saturday, July 4..
- Ready to develop college applications and learn about financing your college education
- Committed to intern at an arts and cultural organization to develop workplace skills
- Eager to be immersed in New York City’s exciting arts and cultural scene.
