Artist Legacy Coalition: Foundation-Based Internships

In partnership with our Arts Intern College program, Artist Legacy Coalition offers a paid, nine-week summer internship for undergraduate students and recent graduates in the visual arts and humanities, primarily in the greater New York City area. This program focuses on experiential learning and mentorship, providing hands-on experience within artist-centered foundations. Interns work with professionals on projects related to archival research, curatorial work, and public initiatives, gaining insight into preserving and interpreting artist legacies. Weekly visits to other arts organizations enhance learning and professional development. 

Foundation-Based Internships – NYC

Start Date: Mid-May – August 7

Two Positions Available:

1. The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Arts: Communications Intern

Collaborate with the Communications Manager to promote the foundation's work and enhance its audience engagement.

Job Description

2. The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Arts: Regranting Program intern

Assist the Regional Regranting Program Officer in expanding the program's impact on artist-led projects.

Job Description

Intern Compensation: $24/hr

Final Intern Stipend: $900

Housing stipend is not provided!

Qualifications:

Post Grad & Available to work from May to August (potential to expand in the Fall)

Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Reside in NYC from mid-May to August  (potential to expand in the fall)

Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
