This summer 2026, we have an exciting paid opportunity to intern at non-profit arts and cultural partners for the Bloomberg Arts Internship: College program.
To be eligible, you must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree and:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time as an undergraduate sophomore or junior, or senior with a graduation date no earlier than Fall 2026.
- Studio in a School does not provide relocation assistance. Participants who do not reside in the same city as their host organization will be responsible for their own relocation/housing costs. (Baltimore, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C.)

Application Process:
- Eligible applicant submits application via Submittable by Sun, March 8th @ 11:59 PM
- Application reviewed to determine eligibility (note: you may be asked to resubmit materials to be matched with worksites)
- 20 - 30 Minute Zoom Interview with a Studio Team member to review application and provide feedback on materials
- Applicants will be matched to interview against open roles based upon their application materials & Zoom interview results
- Virtual interview(s) with worksites Tues, March 10th - Thurs, March 26th
- Accepted candidates receive internship offer on Monday, March 30th
- Deadline for candidates to accept or reject internship offer Thursday. April 2nd EOD
Additional Information:
- The summer internship program: June 2026 - August 2026.
- Hourly wage by city (Baltimore at $27.87; Boston at $34.49; NYC at $32.39; Philadelphia at $26.10; Washington, DC at $32.82)
- Commuter stipend (up to $150)
- Program completion stipend (up to $1,200), issued upon successful completion of the Friday professional development series
Schedule:
- The summer internship program runs from June 2026 through August 2026. Applicants must be available for in-person work for the full duration of the program.
- Interns report to their host cultural organization 4 days per week on a schedule mutually agreed upon by the intern and worksite. Typical workdays are 7 hours.
- Interns participate in paid professional development activities for a half day each Friday at locations throughout their host city.
